Description
Whip up a delicious loaf of bread even if you don't have any baking experience! The ingredients are carefully selected by hand to ensure the best quality. The delicate, smoky flavour can be individually dosed using the enclosed rub. This mix of spices ensures a delicious taste and a crispy result. Ideal for dishes with game, lamb, beef or veal.
Instructions:
- Place the small spice ball in a small bowl, then crumble it up with your hands. Add 5 tablespoons of currant juice, beer or water, stir and set aside.
- Pour the baking mix and 450 ml of water in a bowl and knead well by hand or with a suitable mixer.
- Cover the bowl with a cloth and let it rest for about 20-30 minutes.
- Knead the dough well, shape it and let it rest for another 20 minutes at room temperature.
- Preheat the oven (electric) or the grill to 230 ° C.
- Now stir the rub well again, creating a creamy texture. Then spread the rub over the bread.
- Coat the baking paper with water to ensure a crunchy crust.
- Oven: place the bread on a baking sheet covered with baking paper. Bake at 230 ° C for 10 minutes, then reduce 190 ° C and bake again for about 15 minutes.
- Grill: heat to 230 ° C and place the bread directly on the wire rack on indirect heat. Close the lid, open the ventilation slide and bake for about 20 minutes.
