Description
The Antarctic krill, also called Euphausia Superba, belongs to the shrimp family and forms the largest biomass on earth in the Antarctic Ocean. The krill mass is estimated at 1,000 million tons, of which only about 0.03% are caught annually.
Facts about the krill catch:
- 0.03% - this quota was set by the International Commission for the Conservation of the Antarctic Habitat (CCAMLR) and ensures the conservation of the Antarctic krill.
- The intense red colour of the krill oil is caused by the high content of astaxanthin. This colour comes from red algae, which is the most important food for the crayfish.
Recommended use:
- Take 1-2 capsules daily with liquid with a meal.
