SOD is an enzyme. KAL's SOD 3000 contains a complex of superoxide dismutase (3000 McCord Fridovich Units and naturally occurring glutathione peroxidase and catalase).
Recommended use:
- Take 1 tablet daily about 1 hour before the main meal.

I know from a gene test that SOD was less expressed than necessary or ideal. I have the feeling it helps me gain strength and bring me back on track.
