Description
Alpha-lipoic acid, also known as ALA, is a sulphur-containing substance that occurs naturally in many foods. Unfortunately, modern foods contain very little ALA. ZeinPharma® provides an optimal ratio of 50% R- and 50% S-alpha-lipoic acid.
Recommended dosage:
- Take 1 capsule twice daily with sufficient water. Ideally around 30 minutes before or at least 2 hours after a meal.
- Alternatively, you can also open the capsule and mix the powder contents into water or juice and drink. Please note, however, that alpha-lipoic acid has a very sour taste and can irritate the mucous membranes.
